TV Show: Asthma Management in Children
Less than 30% patients have Personalised Asthma Action Plan (PAAP). Monitoring of inhaler prescribing allows practitioners to identify patients who have poorly controlled asthma; every patient should be collecting at least 12 preventer inhalers per year and more than 12 reliever inhaler prescribing per year suggest poor control.
In this TV show, we are joined by Dr Julian Forton, National Clinical Lead (Child Health) and Consultant Paediatrician, to explore the complexities of managing paediatric asthma in the community.
