The NHS Wales COVID Recovery App – ICST

The NHS Wales COVID Recovery App

In this show, we are joined by Dr Fiona Jenkins (MBE), Physiotherapist and Executive Director of Therapies and Health Science in Cardiff and Vale UHB and Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB, where we explore the background and context to the development of the COVID Recovery App.

This is the first in a series of educational tutorials to help you gain a better understanding about the COVID Recovery App and its functionality. By the end of this series you will identify where it sits as part of the wider COVID-19 Rehabilitation framework across NHS Wales. Most importantly, you will receive all the practical tips and tools to ensure your patients can use the App to support their recovery from the prolonged effects of COVID-19, and identify when to refer to specialist teams.
