The aim of this programme is to support tracheostomy leaders in the management of a tracheostomy service in a hospital.
The ICST TRACHES Toolkit, is a comprehensive toolkit addressing the pressing need for standardised policies, reduced variation, and increased efficiency of the frontline health system. It forms part of a proven system that joins policy to patient, and comprises the following key components:
The toolkit will facilitate seamless communication among policymakers, clinical leaders, tracheostomy hospital departments, healthcare professionals, patients and their carers, aiming to achieve population-level engagement and uptake, leading to improved clinical outcomes.
