TV Show: Early referral of suspected ILD

Interstitial lung diseases (ILD) are an umbrella term for diseases such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, asbestosis, sarcoidosis and iatrogenic lung injury. These conditions are not highly prevalent, but they should be considered in the diagnostic workup of every patient presenting with breathlessness and cough.

In this episode of the TV show, we are joined by Dr Mia Gillett, respiratory registrar, who outlines some simple principles to the early identification of ILD in primary care.
