Getting started with the NHS Wales Healthhub Apps – ICST

Getting started with the NHS Wales Healthhub Apps

Once downloaded, there are four steps to getting started:

  • To begin, navigate through the introductory screens before clicking ‘sign-up’
  • Enter your details into the sign-up form
  • Check your emails for a confirmation email and verify your email address
  • Finally, return to the app and ‘log-in’

Initially, the app will prompt patients to fill in some details about their condition. We know that no two patients are the same, so this step is important to ensure the app is customised for your patient.

If you want to trial the apps yourself to learn more about them, simply sign-up for an account using some pretend patient details and have an explore. And if you have the app to hand, you can also use it to demonstrate to your patient during a consultation.

To encourage patients to use the apps, we ask that you promote the apps through patient letters, social media and/or posters and leaflets. In the resource section below, you will find a selection of free templates for you to use to promote the use of these apps.
