TV Show: Diagnosing Asthma in Children

There is no gold-standard diagnostic test for asthma, and this is further complicated when we are making a diagnosis of Asthma in Children. One of the complicating factors is the vast array of underlying causes of wheeze, especially in children under 6 years, so this National Welsh Standard equips you to correctly differentiate Asthma from other causes of wheeze in children; after all, not all who wheeze has asthma!

In this TV show, we are joined by Dr Julian Forton, National Clinical Lead (Child Health) and Consultant Paediatrician, to explore the complexities of making a diagnosis of Asthma in Children.
