Non-pharmacological treatment options for Migraine

Acupuncture has been shown to be an effective treatment alternative, and NICE recommends acupuncture to prevent chronic tension-type headache and migraine (up to 10 sessions over 5-8 weeks).

Patients with TTH can also benefit from physiotherapy sessions to address postural imbalances, provide a strengthening program and stretches for muscles, massage and soft tissue release and DSE workstation assessment or advice

Patients with TTH can also benefit from mindfulness and meditation, TENS, Exercise and Manual therapy.
