Getting started with the NHS Wales Respiratory Apps
Once downloaded, there are four steps to getting started:
- To begin, navigate through the introductory screens before clicking ‘sign-up’
- Enter your details into the sign-up form
- Check your emails for a confirmation email and verify your email address
- Finally, return to the app and ‘log-in’
Initially, the app will prompt patients to fill in some details about their condition. We know that no two patients are the same, so this step is important to ensure the app is customised for your patient.
To encourage patients to use the apps, we ask that you promote the apps through flyers, posters and a very brief advice script. In the resource section below, you will find a selection of free templates for community pharmacy teams to use to promote the use of these apps.
