On Friday 10th December 2021 we held the engagement event for All Wales Non-Invasive Ventilation in the Acute Setting Guideline and National Welsh Standard

As part of the National Respiratory Toolkit, this interactive 1-hour event focuses on how healthcare professionals involved in the care of respiratory patients presenting acutely with hypercapnic respiratory failure, can provide a consistent approach to care in Wales.

The expert panel includes:

  • Dr Simon Barry – Respiratory Consultant, National Respiratory Clinical Lead
  • Joe Annandale – Respiratory Nurse Specialist
  • Andrew Bishop – Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • Professor Keir Lewis – Professor of Respiratory Medicine – Swansea University, Respiratory Medicine & NIV Clinical Lead – HDUHB
