On Thursday 11th January 2024, we held an interactive live virtual event for all primary and secondary care healthcare professionals who are involved in the management of patients living with COPD, following updates to the All Wales COPD Management and Prescribing Guideline.

The topics included:

• An overview of the guideline
• A review of the evidence that prompted this update
• Which regimen is best, for which patient?
• The practicalities of reviewing everyone’s inhalers
• Those who are resistant to change
• Q&A Session

The event was hosted by Dr Ramsey Sabit (Consultant Respiratory Physician and National COPD Clinical Lead), and featured experts Dr Teresa Ching (Consultant Respiratory Physician and GP), Cerian Parry (Community Advanced Nurse Practitioner) and Charlotte Pritchard (Cluster Pharmacist).
