The Good Care Bundle
Wherever a child is seen with asthma, the Good Care Bundle should be implemented. The components of the Good Care Bundle include:
- Every patient has an Asthma Care Plan, which is reviewed and updated regularly
- Child and parent understand what to do during an asthma attack
- Inhaler technique is optimal and the spacer is age-appropriate
- Discuss asthma triggers
- Smoking cessation advise
